Behind the Camera

I’m Pawel,  a wedding photographer with a quiet love for real stories and timeless light. I document weddings, families, and everyday beauty across the UK, Europe, and wherever stories unfold. My approach is calm, observant, and unobtrusive. I work in the background, letting things happen naturally and capturing them with care. Outside of photography, I find inspiration in art and in all the little things that make life feel beautifully real.

Some moments only happen once. I’m here to make sure they last.

A few more facts about me

MY FIRST CAMERA

A Smena, later replaced by my father’s old Zenit, which felt like holding the moon… and a brick

MY FAVORITE SOUND

The quiet click of a shutter

WHY I PHOTOGRAPH

To deliver joy in its most lasting form

MY EARLIEST PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY

In my mother’s arms, 1980  captured by my uncle, awarded in Wrocław, Poland the same year. Photography runs in the family: my mother’s brother behind the camera, my father a passionate photographer, and me continuing the story

WHEN I’M NOT HOLDING A CAMERA

Wandering through The Fitzwilliam or Tate Britain

WHAT ELSE I DO

I’ve represented England in table tennis abroad, not a professional, just passionate and decent enough to wear the shirt!
